The less idyllic side of being an entrepreneur - doing the book-keeping. I know many entrepreneurs, also those like me who don't have employees but run their small business alone, pay for a professional accountant to do the book-keeping. But since my 'classical massage and occasional coding'-business is rather simple, I prefer to do the book-keeping myself. It also forces me to be more familiar with the business figures, to comprehend the overall yearly balance of sales and costs. Doing the accounts, row by row, is also a contemplation on costs, and allows me to take a closer look if there are costs that could be further minimized. Hehe, and as a sidenote - as you can see, I've relocated my computer to the smaller room.
