This is a longish story and would deserve a blog post of its own - I'll probably write more later on. To put shortly; Thirty minutes walk from my place there is a hill called Elämänmäki, The Hill of Life. Go back in time one hundred years, and on top of Elämänmäki there was a sanatorium. This picture is taken on Elämänmäki, next to the memorial stone of Doctor Lybeck who ran the sanatorium. These lovely people are Jamie Rhodes (a writer) and Emmi Nieminen (a visual artist), they are making a graphic novel and the story takes place in the sanatorium about 1917. For this week I'll be their field guide.
