Today's Philosophy Seminar is about Sellars. I found it rather interesting, although I don't fully agree with all of the Sellars's views. But that, often, is the most inspiring and interesting situation; when you partially agree and partially disagree, and then you need to dive into details and engage in the process of critical thought to evaluate if there is something wrong in your own reasoning, or if there is something wrong with the reasoning you disagree with - or maybe both, or if there is some sort of synoptic view to be found, a higher vantage point which would see one's previous position compatible with a number of other positions. (Ah, the laptop runs a zoom meeting, and the on the desktop screen I have a pdf of the text we are discussing.)
