Experimenting with cross-platform deployment. Using the desktop running on Linux I made a small test program on Java. Then, still on linux, I packaged the java app so that it should run on Windows. Testing it on the laptop, and it is a success! Now, the same procedure should also work for creating a Mac application on my Linux desktop. I have zero experience with Mac environment, so there is probably some tinkering and learning and trial-and-error ahead, but at the moment I'm just happy about having found the start of a path which should eventually lead to Ancient Savo smoothly running on any Mac, be there Java installed on user machine or not.
