Yes, I like the cycle of the year. I enjoy the quiet meditative atmosphere of these dim bleak winter days - and atmosphere is enchanted by the hidden potential of there being the summery abundance of colours, scents, sounds of life bustling around. And yet, if one quietly observes the bleak wintery scene, there are all kinds of small delightful details to notice; A few bullfinch (Pyrrhula pyrrhula) hopping around, foraging the seeds from the dry stalks of northern dock (Rumex longifolius) - a trail of tracks of a lone ermine, criss-crossing the sleeping garden, sometimes following a path of hares, sometimes wandering around as the animal has probably been scouting around looking for places where the bank voles (Myodes glareolus) have their tunnels in the snow.
Oh well - I wish you persistence and inner tranquility, for I do believe that eventually dreams can come true =)
