August moon

The last couple of days have been rather pleasant. I have been doing some programming for my friend's company - I'm working with a tiny office solution customized for their needs. Altough I like my work as a massage therapist, the downside is that it is always tied to arranged timetables, and depends on driving a car. But programming I can do at home, freely choosing my working hours, which allows ease of combining outdoor activities and indoor work.

It is five days since I last visited a supermarket, and I'm slowly running low on food. But it doesn't matter so much, as it is season for apples and lingonberries and mushroom. Yesterday I went fishing, but caught only two little fish. On my way back home I spotted some chantarelles growing next to the path I was walking - they made a proper evening meal together with potatoes. This morning I ate some apples which had fallen down from the tree. After that I drank coffee sitting on the stairs of my sauna, watching the roosters foraging for their food. And bit before the sunset I went fishing again, this time with more luck. I got enough perches for tomorrow.

Now it is already getting dark. It is full moon, and I have warmed up both the sauna and the bathtub. So I guess it is time to just post this and go enjoy the august moon.
