Hi erkka! It's me again with another question.
Do I need to be good at maths(I want to be programmer)?
What's your maths level?
Thank you :-)

It depends =)

But generelly speaking, the answer is: yes. Programming and maths share a lot. They are both based on logical, formal way of thinking. But then, on the other hand, you can be a decent programmer without advanced maths. I'd say logical thinking is the key. For example, if you are given a verbal description of a problem, and you are good at finding the mathematical solution how to calculate a correct answer - that is the kind of thinking you need in programming too.

Long time ago in the school my maths grades were 9 or 10 (in scale 4 to 10). But I never studied maths nor programming, I was more interested in philosophy and literature =)
