Ancient Savo Steam release is planned at 20th of September. Last Friday Steam sent me message notifying that it is three weeks to the release date, and they suggested uploading the first version of the game so that there is enough time to go through all the necessary steps of the release process. Well, I knew that the beginning of this week is somewhat fully booked with working for money, so I spent the weekend polishing AS, and trying to figure out the basics of depots, builds, run configurations and branches of the Steam app management system. It was the midnight between Sunday and Monday when I got AS uploaded to Steam. Then, Monday and Tuesday were indeed full days of my ordinary odd jobs. Today I spent some three hours coding at the office of the mill, then drove to the village center to shop food. Typically the weather at this time of the year would be rainy and not so warm, but now it feels like proper summer, and the forecast says it will be like this at least for few more days. Tomorrow I only have one customer for massage, otherwise there are no schedules for the rest of the week. So it feels like a mini summer holiday =) To celebrate that I wanted to eat at one of the small restaurants in the village center.
