The sauna stove has an integrated hot water container. In the summertime it is always full of water, but in the winter I have to empty it, otherwise it would freeze solid, eventually breaking the structure. This means that every time I heat up the sauna I carry water to fill up the container. Today when I opened the lid of the container I saw these naturally formed patterns in the frost on the inner walls.
