Walking to neighbors to see if I can help them with a computer program. It seems to be windows machine failing to boot, just giving boot0: error. Since I couldn't get it solved on the site I took the computer with me so that I can continue at home. I managed to access the hard drives booting on an ubuntu live CD, so I'd guess the next thing to do is to backup all the relevant data.
