Another day of picking lingonberries to be sold. I have already emptied the good spots near my home, so I need to drive a bit further - to a place named "Marjamäki" which translates literally as "Berry Hill". The big boxes have a volume of 60 litres, but they are not completely full. The small boxes are 25 litres. So I'd guess it is about 170 litres in total. The buyer measured them to be a little bit more than 100 kg. To my surprise the price had gone up, so they paid me a little over 200 €. Not yet sure, but it starts to look like I can manage to pay all the bills which I postponed in the summer. Today was a rather warm day, but surely it is autumn already. Equinox and all - the transition to the (even) more introvert meditative time of days growing shorter.
