Today I was coding at the office of the mill. I returned home at 5pm. All the trees appeared as dark silhouettes against the dusk sky. In many of the ancient mythologies they believed that the cosmos is held up by a giant tree, different layers of reality supported at the branches. This cosmic tree was often thought to be an oak. Well, a view like this makes it easy to imagine how the ancient people imagined this metaphor.
