Before today's customers I had time to fetch a bale of straw. I drove to the neighbouring farm, borrowed their trailer, and the farmer loaded the bale with a tractor. The bale's weight is about 200 kg, which means that I can't lift it but I can push and roll it around =) Here I'm unloading. The horses have a thick winter fur so freezing temperatures aren't a problem for them. But on the floor of their barn they have a thick bed of dry straw, so they have a comfortable place to sleep. One bale lasts for six - eight weeks or so.
