Today I'll have only two customers, starting at 7pm. And it is a rainy day - perfect for working with a writing project. Yes, there has finally been some proper progress with the TaruPaja project; a dialogue-driven interactive story reading / writing / sharing -thingy. And that's why I haven't been posting new blog entries for a while, as I've been concentrating on getting the TaruPaja example story finished... So, today after morning coffee I thought to first to run some routine maintenance on EnormousElk site and then start writing the dialogues I drafted yesterday. Alas - the routine maintenance somehow affected the comment section of this site. As I didn't find an easy fix, I opened up the code editor and browsed the sources to debug. I ended up re-writing and re-arranging some things. Because of some technical details this led me to completely re-write the way 'previous' and 'next' links work in image galleries like Picture of The Day. And, again, as I got the technical side functioning I was already too tired to polish the layout and graphics. (I think we could have the 'next' and 'previous' links as small triangle-shaped buttons on the left and right of the displayed image). As of writing this it is already 15 minutes to 7 pm...
