Somehow this made me think of a cryo-sleep capsule from a sci-fi movie. But it is a flotation tank - the water is so salty that it is rather easy to float freely, the air and water are heated to body temperature. Once you get in and close the lid there is an isolated peaceful personal comfortable space. It was a rather relaxing experience!
