It would be possible, and I have the necessary basic equipment. I think I'm just somewhat spoiled by having an elder fisher lady living nearby. As she is getting old she needs to ask for some practical tasks requiring physical strength, and as I help her I get fish in return. I've noticed that lowering my motivation to go fishing myself. So when I go out to the lake (be it summer or winter) it is mostly just for the refreshment.
